In 2021, Horizn Studios proved that performance, design, and sustainability can go hand in hand. The Circle One cabin suitcase – 100% plant-based and biodegradable, made from natural materials like flax, seeds, and nutshells – is the world’s first luxury luggage of its kind. My role was to communicate this groundbreaking innovation globally through brand messaging, marketing copy, social media and PR activations, and multimedia content across B2C and B2B channels, both online and offline. The campaign attracted prominent influencers in environmentalism, including UK filmmaker and activist Jack Harries.

After two years of tireless development, we’ve turned flax, an incredibly resilient natural fiber, into a material that’s lighter than aluminum, more durable than polycarbonate, and greener than anything else on the market. We took even more natural elements, like nuts and seeds for the luggage handels, to bring this innovation to fruition. This breakthrough marks the luggage industry’s biggest material science advancement since the invention of polycarbonate.²
