Brand: Horizn Studios

Role: Senior Brand Editor

Going Further With

I joined Horizn Studios the day Berlin entered its first COVID-19 lockdown. With half my role focused on managing the brand’s editorial output, I had to get creative. How do we feature global creatives in a pandemic-friendly way? Enter Going Further With – a video interview series, recorded on Zoom, inspired by the brand’s claim Let’s Go. Further. The series amplified voices across fashion, art, music, social justice, environmentalism, and more. As its host, it pushed me out of my comfort zone. I sourced all talent, edited, and published the videos on Instagram, which led to spin-offs like Art Moves (featuring curators like Bonaventure Ndikung), My Music My Journey (with DJs like Mathew Jonson and Blond), and Food Matters (highlighting international chefs), each of which had their own hosts from our community.

Going Further With Jack Harries

When Jack Harries set out to capture his gap year journeying the world, he never imagined himself becoming a climate activist. A decade later, the esteemed documentary filmmaker with over one million followers is one of the most important voices in the movement fighting for the future of our planet.

His message? Change is possible if we take matters into our own hands. Opening up his mind, he talked to me about travel as a way to embrace the present, the power of young voices, and why this is a time for all of us to go further. Link to Instagram Post
